Hardware The Imote2 is manufactured and distributed by Crossbow. The Illinois SHM Project has created a series of sensor boards that work with the Imote2 and the ISHMP toolsuite that are designed specifically with the demands of SHM in mind. This versatile sensor board is tailored to structural health monitoring (SHM) applications and is capable of providing the information required for comprehensive infrastructure monitoring. The sensor board provides three axes of acceleration as well as light, temperature and humidity measurements. The 4-channel analog to digital converter (ADC) can accommodate the addition of one external analog input signal, e.g. strain measurement. |
